pre purchase thoughts on this 2007 C2S please...

One owner. Lease return. Dealer sale. DME supposedly shows "49 ignitions in range 1 and none any higher."

1. What's a reasonable offer?
2. Anyone have any experience with a local dealer arranging shipping from out of state dealer as a favor if you will be servicing the vehicle locally?

Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Year: 2007
Price: 79900
Mileage: 10215
Body Style: Coupe
Color: Black
Cylinders: 6 Cylinder Gasoline
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Doors: Two Door
Stereo: Bose Sound System

Thanks in advance.

Not a CPO.

Sport seats, Bose Nav and full leather interior. Apparently very clean, no accidents, etc.

I agree. Definitely on the high side. You can easily do better pricing with a fully warrantied CPO'd car. All CPO's now carry full manufacturers warrranty. So if you're going for an '07, you'll have full coverage until 2013 or 100K miles. Don't settle for less. 08's are also between 10-12% off MSRP, which will end you up in a nicely equipped C2S for 82-85K...not much of a difference from this one you're looking at.

Lil Raja,
Saw your PM, I'm not able to respond due to my limited # of posts however would you be willing to post the photos? My preference would be for black or slate gray however.

TIA

I bought my car out of state and the shipping cost was $800.00. Some trucking companies like DAS auto shippers will charge about $850.00 coast to coast. While you may not have to pay sales tax from buying out of state, local DMV license and registration fees apply.

rockstardoc:

I've followed your search and it ended nicely for you.

Big_O:

Due to the recent oil prices, the most recent quotes I received coast to coast from Intercity and other carriers (enclosed) ranged from 1200 to 1800.

Eyeopener, you can do what others have done. Take the red-eye (no pun intended *s*) via jet blue and drive the car home. I've done a complete cross country from Boston to Los Angeles for another purchase.
