New 997 Tubi Exhaust
New 997 Tubi Exhaust
Does anyone know anything about the new Tubi exhaust with VALVE that was advertised in the Oct Excellence? I have looked at Tubi's website, and all others I can find, but there is no info out there. From the pics in the Ad it looks like the VALVE may work like the stock sport exhaust and allow you to quiet the exhaust when you want. Anyone know anymore about this new product?
I don't know but I loved my 997S Tubi and still love my 997tt Tubi .
My guess is the new one will be worth looking into . Just give it a few months after the car is launched and fitted with the aftermarket parts before installing yours . This way all of the new model issues have passed the test of time and others can comment about the exhaust for that particular car.

Thanks, I got a responce on rennlist that it is a direct replacement for the stock sport exhaust.
I just got some Tubi mufflers off of ebay with around 300miles on them, I can not wait to get them on the car!

In my opinion, the Tubi exhaust system is quiet enough at idle and cruising speeds that it does not need a valve to silence it. It really opens up when you go WOT, especially above 5k RPMs. Maybe the valve system would be useful if added with 200 cell cats?
