997 Cab Pictures with HRE P43 Wheels

One of our customers from Illinois sent us a great side shot of his Porsche 997 C2s Cabriolet featuring the HRE P43 monoblock wheels. The 20x9 and 20x11 inch wheels have a brushed finish and are wrapped with Michelin PS2 tires. The tires are a 245/30/20 and a 295/25/20 size. The customer also has some of the new Bilstein PSS10 Damptronic coilovers installed. Great looking ride!

Why doesn't the car appear to be lower than factory?

Tro is infamous around these parts
The car looks ''very'' high and the drawback of these wheels is the brakes discs appear to ridiculously small !!

I made a mistake, he did not install the PSS10 yet. I shipped them though 20's dont ride bad at all. Many 997ers go with the 20" fashionable setup. These wheels are so lightweight that it really will not affect driveability either.

The tires look small.. has anyone used the 305/25/20 Setup? on a 11" wide wheel?

I believe the 20'2 weigh about 24lbs front and 27lbs rear.

295 on that width is proper. The problem is finding a tire available in that size.

a 305/25 should fit ok depending on the tire. Different tires are cut differently.

Sorry to drum up an old thread but wanted to give some prop's to Dan at Vivid Racing and this seemed to be the most appropriate and relevant thread.

As some of you know, I've been going back and forth on wheels for my 2008 C4S Cabriolet in triple black for awhile. Dan was great in answering my emails/PM's on options that I could go with and what would work best for me. Long story short, just got off the phone after placing my order with him for a set of HRE P40's, 19", in brushed finish. Will get pic's up as soon as I get them on my car (hopefully in a week or two).

Thanks again Dan
