Hey guys, just a question to the wheel experts around here..

Im in the market for some 20" techart formula wheels for my 2008 C2S (997 narrowbody).

Im wondering if its possible to fit the widebody formula wheels (20x12) in the rears, or is the offset on these particular wheels a little much for it. Thanks.

 

i wouldnt know, but if you would post this thread in the wheels section im pretty sure you would get a faster and better response..just a thought

typically Techart wheels run aggressive offset. 20X12ET48 for wide body, 12X11ET55 for narrow body. I don't think is possible to put 12" TA wheels are your C2S rear.

 

I just put silver 20" TA Formulas on my 997 today:

Front: 8.5Jx20 wheels with 235/30 ZR 20 tires
Rear: 11Jx20 wheels with 305/25 ZR 20 tires
ContiSportContact 2 tires (TA recommended)

I still have about 7mm of clearance, so a 12" might fit but you may need to roll fenders. I would call TA or WheelExperts for the final word. I gotta say the 11" rears with 305's look siq!

I have 20 x 12s on my narrow body 997. Fits without any rubbing with 305's in the rear and with the car lowered. If the techarts are 20x12 +48 they'd stick out past the rear fenders. If you want a 20x12in you'd need to get custom rims made, because I don't think anyone makes a 20x12 for nb 997s.
