K here is the scoop, I got the H8 "Foglight LED" installed on Friday with Parking lights "w5w LED bulbs". The good news is the H8 LED works and look great althought not very bright. Bad news is as follows ; H8 Bulbs set off the error messages and the W5W bulbs don't even work cuz they are too low wattage. I will post pictures soon. MCL did the install for me.

Can't wait to see them! Btw, if the w5w are too low wattage, what wattage will work?

I don't remember where I saw this info, but some of the electrical systems/sensors key off of the resistance of the standard bulb filament. LEDs don't have the same electrical properties and thus may result in error codes and other associated electronics to not work properly. I think many items need to be swapped out when switching from regular bulbs to LEDs. What would seem like an easy upgrade, is not so simple. Hopefully, others with advanced understanding in this area will come along and comment as I would love to swap to LEDs also.

I really thought I wanted to do this mod (esp the LED tails) but I think it's going to cause little problems here and there. If anyone has success with it let me know!
