I am leaning toward doing this to my car (997S). Can you tell me the approximate installation cost?

Parts + $600 - $800 + Alignment costs. This makes the car so much nicer to drive, and so much quicker on the track.

I have the stock bumper on my car and have yet to scrap the bumper. I have scraped the little air deflectors in front of the front tires, but that is no big deal. It looks like you have the GT3 bumper, I have heard that they can get scraped a bit. Most seem to replace the lower lip when it gets bad.

Yes, I do have the GT3 front, and at stock height *knock on wood* I have yet to scrape it but then again I haven't driven it for that long Keeping the bottom lip black is key so you can easily swap it out when damaged.

Decisions, decisions, I want to find a used set of Bilstein coilovers, let me know if anyone is selling theirs!

I agree wirh NorthVan on cost. I paid $830 including alignment. Bilsteins retail for over 3K. Check with Dan at Vivid for deals. He has walked me through this process and they got me everything very quickly. Good luck/great mod IMHO.

I saw a set on ebay for a C2 yesterday. They are asking $2200. They got them from Vivid used them for a couple of weeks and sold the car. At that price it might still be worth going with new ones for peace of mind.

I was scraping if not careful with aero front before the drop. If you approach most things at an angle you can avoid it most of the time. I just replaced the chin spoiler with a black unpainted GT3 on the advise of another 6speeder. It definitely doesn't show the scratching as much. I figure for the added performance it is worth $180 + or - to replace spoiler once in a while.
