Arzo is infamous around these parts
Does anyone know what this part does?

I just installed a K&N intake on my 997 C4S tiptronic and wondered if anyone knows what this vacuum line? or sensor on the stock airbox does. It does not appear to be like the vacuum line that 996 tips had. I have not connected it or capped the part that remained and have not gotten a CEL. Do I need to address it?

Discusses the Helmhotz Resonator. You may need a zip tie.

Thanks Gomez, that was perfect. I had zip tied it, but not capped it. I was glad to hear it is not necessary to connect it to new intake.
