Fabspeed Maxflo Mufflers For 997/997S
Fabspeed Motorsport mufflers for any and all applications and especially the Porsche 997 and 996 are made of a heavy gauge T304L stainless steel utilizing precision tooling and stamping. In particular, Fabspeed muffler cases are plate rolled from heavy guage T304LSS and muffler endcaps are manufactured using precision tool and die just like the major exhaust companies and tier 1 automobile manufacturers demand.
You will never have a problem with welds cracking our mufflers blowing apart with Fabspeed's innovative proper design. Companies that manufacture SQUARE mufflers with flat endcaps have all had major recurrent failures over all the years as square and boxy have been proven to fail and these failures are public domain. Round mufflers with stamped organically round and radiused endcaps are all stress relieved versus square CHEAP and simple to manufacture with no precision tooling will all fail and break no matter what a company tells you!
You have to actually spend engineering on tooling and materials rather than saying that you are and cutting up cheap sheets of stainless steel and welding together "shoe boxes".

Guys, I have been using the same set of Fabspeed mufflers since 2006 and they have held up very well. Absolutly ZERO issues.
They also sound the best and they sound especially good at above 5000rpms where they will give you that real Porsche Cup Car wailing exhaust note.
I have heard all of the mufflers out there at our club events at the track and the Fabspeed mufflers I had on my 06 and 07 997S sounded the best.
Now if Fabspeed would come out with something for my 09 Carrera S...HELP!

As for the 2009 Carrera S.... We just took delivery of one 2 weeks ago and have already started on something
