I spent this Friday at Street of Willow with some friends.

We went with Speed Ventures. It was a fun day and a good time for me and my friends all to be on the track together.

 

Looks like a fun day. I want to come down to Willow one day.

Speed Ventures has been the only way I have found to do a track event with other cars that are not porsches.

With the Porsche clubs it only allows Pcars, but this clubs allows anything, so we can all be on the track together and have fun and compare times.

But every dog has its day...... my buddy in his EVO X was victorious this round.

I was pretty surprised what fresh R rated rubber and 4 wheel drive can do through some turns.

SOW is not a HP course its more of a technical course so POWER is usually not an issue.

There was a GT-R Skyline that looked very good around the course.

 

Tough Clubs, I have been to PCA days in Vancouver and Seattle and they are both open to other types of cars. I like being out on the track with other cars, lets me see how good the 997 really is.
