just got the gt3 control arms with 3m and 8 mm shims and need to know best alignment for street/track....instructor level driving with r compounds..track 1-2 times per month 2 days a wk as daily driver....going to go with the 3 mm shims but would lke input that would be appreciated rather than trying to guess and go..no one around here has much experience including the dealership...thanks

 

Mike, take the car to Bob Brooks at Vortex in Tampa. he has done this set up before and will do an awesome alignment. he has the latest and greatest alignment machine and some serious skill.

Also over on the other forum contact RonCT. He had a 2006 997S with GT3 control arms and he can give you his alignment specs.
