997 carrera brake/rotor upgrade to gt3

Does anyone here on the forum have any experience with upgrading a 997 non-S with GT3 steel brakes??? Is it a straight bolt on(rotors/calipers) or do I have to do more beyond that? Thanks in advance

It only lists this as a S brake upgrade, but I can't imagine why it wouldn't work for the non S.

Give them a call and find out more info

Suncoast's GT3 brake upgrade kit wont work on a non-S but there is a solution for all those in my situation...the S has a different hub/knuckle than non-S on the fronts, rears are the same...so you can buy an S hub for the fronts and get the GT3 upgrade kit from suncoast. Don't make the same mistake I made by assuming that the GT3 upgrade kit from suncoast is a set of 997 gt3 rotors and gt 3 calipers. They're actually GT3 calipers with 997 turbo rotors and they fit the 997 S hub/knuckle. I just completed the install today with help from Carlos and Eli from Fast Forward Wheels. I was surprised by the huge performance difference between the standard 997 brakes and the GT3 setup.
