Porsche Factory Tour

Hey guys,

I am going to Germany for December over the holidays. Anyone have connection or know how to arrange a Tour of the Porsche Factory?

Thanks in advance,
Jon

Yeah, I was going through that area around this time last year. You just need to call the factory and get it setup. I think the number can be found my searching through Porscheusa.com. However, as I recall, there were only certain days and times for the tours.

Been there 3 times. nice experience. Best is to take a hotel close to the factory, wake up early and stand at the entrance of the factory around 8 am: you will see some disguised mules coming out and lots of company 911's coming in. Zuffenhausen is a crap place to go out though...

PM me if you want number of contact person at Porsche factory to arrange for a visit

Do make sure you contact them / plan ahead. I had a "doh!" moment a few years ago: was on vacation visiting friends in Germany and hadn't thought about doing a Porsche factory tour until that week. After spending quite a bit of time on the phone finding the right person to talk to (all done by my german-speaking friends) I was told the tours that week were all full. I'll have to go back again.
Have fun.

I filled out a factory tour request through the Porsche website and I got an e-mail from them stating they have suspended all factory tours until spring 2009 because of the new Panamera production and plant renovations to support the new model manufacturing. Damn Panamera!!
