SilverEdge is infamous around these parts
I am in the market and have spoken to managers or salesmen in seven dealerships on both coasts. Unless they are all outright lying there is only 10 to 10.5% profit on the 2009 cars. I think it would be very difficult to get 15% - if there is an incentive or factory to dealer money it might be possible but I have not heard or read of any such incentive on 2009's.

they are not lying-i would be very happy getting 10% off of an 09-i am sure that most dealers won't do it, but some, who are more desperate to just move stock, might do it. i am certainly not saying to expect a 10% discount-what i am saying is to get on the internet, check dealer's inventories, find cars that you like, and try to find someone who really wants to move that car. on an 08, 10% should be easy.

I drove by Catena a few days ago and they seemed to have lots of inventory and not too much traffic.

There is more than a 10-10.5% profit on an '09 911, without adding any options!

10% off

MelsM3,

That is true! I just got quotes for at least 9.5-10% from all over northeast so there must be more than 10% margin!

Andrew,

I am not able to reply via PM since I have only 2 posts, but I am also the same user at Rennlist, pls PM me there.

Thanks.

Vic

I found that I could get 10% off on 09's at nearly every dealer I called, including in Florida.
