997.2 iPod integration as a post-purchase dealer install?

I felt fortunate to find a 997.2 on the lot at my local dealer that had 99% of the options I was looking for. Unfortunately the only thing missing that I would really like to have at some point is the iPod integration.

When I bought the car I thought it likely that at some point Porsche service centers would offer this kit as a Techtronic catalog accessory.

Has anyone looked in to this or heard anything about whether or not it will be available?

I listen to XM about 80% of the time that I'm driving, but do miss having access to *my* music collection the rest of the time.

Thanks Chuck. I'm hoping for the actual Porsche system for my 997.2, but I did go through Eric to iPod my 2005 987s and that worked out relatively well. A pricey install though.

Thanks for the link. I've emailed Suncoats to see if that kit works on the '09 cars.

Thanks, also, for the compliment regarding the photography. It's a fun way to kill a Saturday.......can't play golf anymore due to a bad back!
