200 cell...
I went as loud as i can, its cheap money with the bypass pipes so i figured I can always get the mufflers if its "too" loud (which i doubt!) but if i went to get the mufflers and I was disappointed, then i would be sitting on 2k mufflers.

I was looking at the Tubi's but was told by the dealer to stay away from Tubi as they are a cheap setup and go with milltek or fabspeed. Milltek is the official exhaust, and Fabspeed is the copy of the milltek at a discounted rate. ** this is all heresay from the dealer though

Not true. Fabspeed did not copy Miltech mufflers. Fabspeed had there mufflers years before Miltech brough mufflers to market for the 997.

Quote: How much did they quote you for the install? i payed $125 + 13% Tax so $140. Anything over that is way too much!
13% tax?!?!? How yeah....I almost forgot......you have free health care!

Well that is really not true. No problem from me as I don't work at Fabspeed but I know they design and build there mufflers and have had the same Maxflo muffler out for the 997 a lot longer than most.
I had Fabspeed mufflers on my car since early 2006 with many thousands of miles and well over 30 track days. They last and hold up very well where other can and will fail.

Nug, the inside of the Fab is stout but it is a simple U turn inside I believe. I loved my Fab mufflers but they did not fit my 09 C2S so I put on by pass pipes on my 09 while I wait for the new dual cone tuned mufflers for the 09 and the x pipe.
