05 997 S cab. with tip?
Looking at buying a yellow/blk 997 cab S with 16k miles, nav, chrono but it is with tiptronic. price around $53k. Very clean car.
What is your opinion on 997 with tip?
Never owned one with it, all my 911s (964,993)were manual..

I have an C4S Cab/Tip.(wife mandate) but have driven both..If you are going to track the car then I would say no to Tip..otherwise I love it as I don't miss shifting for 2 hours in my M3 in stand still traffic getting out to the beach from NYC during the summer.
I will say that the PDK Trans in the 09 is pretty damn good, I wouldn't go manual no matter what if I was going to buy 997.2. That just me..if you really like rowing gears...this is the one car to drive stick for sure!
