If I am not mistaken....buy clear ones and spray tint them !
One products name is
VHT spray tint.
They still need to let light through so something transparent would work! They wouldn't be "BLACK BLACK" but,you get the point!

Stacy,

I'm assuming you've done this, if so how well did the paint stay on?

I've seen the results on side marker/rear lights.

It looks pretty good, if that's the effect that you are looking for.

I have not done it before to my car but rather seen it done numerous of times....
I would take the markers off ,take them to a bodyshop, have them tint some clear-coat and have them spray them. After that they will wet sand and polish.
The clear-coat is like paint,it will stay as long/good as they prep it,like the paint job on your car!
For PERFECT results, take them to a bodyshop!

I got mine from Detailing Dynamics on L.I. I was there one day hanging out and they were messing with smoking different pieces and asked if I wanted to try out the side markers. I said sure; I don't love them but don't hate them either.

Not sure if they're still doing it or how much they cost but you may want to give them a call.
