TV/VIDEO on the 997.2 PCM
I wouldn't doubt that some fear of american liability artifficially limites the video playback. At least the PCM recognizes DVD-+R/W with MP3 on it. 4.7GB of MP3s is a lot, not quite as much as an Ipod, but no adapter is necessary ($$$).
From the UK website:
"
The TV tuner, available on request, is capable of receiving analogue and digital free-to-air television broadcasts (DVB-T) to provide entertainment between journeys. For your safety, the TV picture is switched off while the car is in motion."
Well, the screen is the same, so no harware reason not to play DVD video as well.
