GMG @ 24 Hours of Daytona Car #88

We are running with Farnbacher Loles in car #88.

Fabryce, were the GT Porsches running 18" or 19" wheels? Is there a rule on this or is it the teams choice?

Both the GT and DP classes have to run 18" wheels with the Pirelli slick. The tires are impressive, not much of a fall off an hour into a stint. We could run similar lap times throughout the hour or so.

 

Thanks James, someone from TRG told me that the their GT Porsches were running 19" Fikse this year. I did not think that was correct due to the rules.

How did you guys do in the race?

Some local guys that I know, were running car number 44, Bullet Racing. The seemed to have a lot of mechanical problems this year.

 

That was some great racing to watch! DVRed it and watched it last night for 5 hours. Well done and great competition from from Darren Law, too! What a bunch of GREAT drivers in Porsches! Well done and good luck for the season! We're cheering you on.
