jabed92694 is infamous around these parts
Three questions with this hack:
1) Will it lose any power Hp or Tq?
2) Is there any resonance throughout the entire range?
3) Will it void the factory warranty?

Thanks,
Jon

Answers:

1) Not noticeably
2) No
3) Only Porsche can tell you that. But exhaust modifications typically don't effect mechanical warranties.

I took my 997 mufflers to local "custom muffler shop" and the guy gave a biggest bs about taking the inlet and outlet pipe off to be able to do the weld. Then, I went to the Meineke muffler shop next block over and they quoted me $150 per muffler for the job......What the hell....I took the muffler off myself. I guess I can take the mufflers to Mesa Muffler but their weld was nothing to write home about. Can anyone recommend a shop that they used in southern california? (OC or Riverside area) Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for a muffler shop in OC that preferrably has done this "hack" before and won't charge an arm and a leg to accomplish it.

Thanks in advance.
Lakerholic-

Have you had this done yet????????

Thanks-

#1) You won't gain or lose anything you'll notice.
#2) No resonance but probably some noise you might find strange.
#3) You expect to get a straight answer from Porsche? come on
