Can the exhaust tips come out on a 997S (for cleaning)
are the exhaust tips on a 997 S bolted in or welded. i want to take a crack at polishing them. if so, are they easy to take out

there's a bolt, just look under your car. If you can't get the tips clean you may consider trying this (ceramic coating them). It's cheap and changes the look completely:
