Yet another exhaust question..

Currently running headers and FabSpeed cats and looking for a little more sound. Anyone else running something simmilar that can recommend a muffler thats a little louder than a stock one? I did a search on the site and didn't really find what I was looking for. Thanks.

Are they Fabspeed Headers too?

AWE mufflers are quieter then most other aftermarket ones.

You can not go wrong with the Fabspeed Maxflo Mufflers. I had them on my 06 and 07 Carrera S and after doing my research I felt they sounded the best. I put this set of mufflers through 10's of thousnad of miles and 30 hard and hot DE's and they never failed me.

Are you running them with cats and headers too or did u just replace the mufflers? Its to my understanding that cats and headers will make a muffler louder than if you just swapped out the mufflers on a stock exhaust.

FYI - I'm a track rat and put probably 6000 track miles on my 997S before trading in for a GT3. When I had headers, cats, and mufflers - it was just too loud for street use. I ended up going back to OEM mufflers, but keeping aftermarket headers and cats. The difference between AWE mufflers and OEM was significant - not "a little louder" as you are requesting.

I like mine a lot.
When I took it into the dealership, the Service writer came out and asked me what it was. He said he really liked it.
Check out the sound clip.

Correct I just ran the mufflers only with stock cats but since you already have most of the Fabspeed system and you are looking to replace the stock mufflers you should put on the Fabspeed MaxFlo mufflers to complete the system.
