Mixing best way to bump up rating and simple formula; 6 gal 93 + 6gal 101 = 12 gal 97 . There have been several threads and a couple of web sites the last couple of months, just search. Almost any gasoline distributor or race track can tell you where to buy.

Will your ecu recognize it? Might need a reflash to benefit.

Wow, where are you finding it for $6/gallon?? I am paying $9.85/gal for the 104. The best here in Los Angeles for 100 from the pump is the 76 station on Bundy/San Vincente and even then it's over $8/gallon. Please let me know.

so please educate me. i don't even kjnow where to get104 octane from.

Thanks man..

As far as mixing octane, keep in mind the car was really desgined for 93 octane. Here in Cali the best we normally get is 91. To get to 93 octane I blend in 3 gallons of 104 with 13 gallons of 91. This gets me to about 93.3 octane.

Only have about 13" left to melt. Should be a few weeks for full melt and another 3-4 weeks before all the salt is gone enough to take the cover off the car. Thanks for asking though.... I think.

100 octane 76 station in Agoura off Chesebro exit on Dorothy Dr. It was about $6 per gallon when I last filled up the supercharged 997S in 12/08. Not sure what it is now. There is also a 76 is Pasadena with 101 I think - they are way more $$. Check out the link:

I'm in for a meet and cruise anytime. I do weekend cruises almost every weekend. Would love to ride with some other local SoCal Porsche's!

You know I did hear of that station...it's just that is so far from me that any savings would be more than spent after the cruise there and back..although it's an awesome cruise...go up Topanga and that is a nice drive. Sounds good..

I have that link it's just the prices aren't updated that much. The price of fuel has dropped tremendously but we are still paying as if 91 is back to $4.90/gallon.

Yea he already is, he's a little toughie. Kenji is already 4, he learned to swim when he was just 2. He can already do cart wheels and knows a few Katas already from watching his older brother Sean (7) do Karate and such.
