Giving Porsche owners a bad name

So sad. I wish people would use some common sense.

Innocent victim? It takes two to race, both were at fault. Didn't one report have the Ferrari going 100+ before the crash?

I'm not defending the guy in the Porsche. I just have a problem with a "rush to judgement" without much fact.

I am not sure who the "innocent victim" would be. It certainly is not the Ferrari driver who was involved in the high speed run with the Porsche. Only the passengers know what was happening, in each of their cars, before they collied. The passengers may or may not have been willing participants.
Whether it be testosterone and/or alcohol, that influenced the drivers, both should not have speeding.

Just a wild guess since the info is not available to us. BUT, if you're driving fast and someone is messing with you, it's POSSIBLE to not be a reckless idiot yet still decide to "play" a bit. In such a circumstance, you might not realize or consider that the other driver may be drunk. It seems at this point, that the Ferrari driver mistook the P-car driver for someone competent, and THAT was his deadly error.

RIP

I would not be surprised, knowing how prosecutors are, that they are blaming everything on the porsche driver because he is the only one left to blame. Things work like that nowadays.
In the press release you will probably hear that the guy in the ferrari (Mr Mask) was on his way to church that night, according to the prosecutors office and was accosted by the inebriated reckless porsche driver. They never mention that they were fighting at a party an hour before over whos car was faster...
I only feel bad for the passengers and thank god that there were no bystanders hurt.

I agree that street racing is wrong. But what led to street racing was alcohol; this is this guy's second DUI offense. I am not against drinking either - just do not drive when you drink.

I was almost killed by a drunk driver so I feel no sympathy for the porsche driver. We all drive a little fast on the street from time to time, but don't do it when you're drunk!

It takes TWO to tango - allegedly the dead Ferrari driver doesn't drink; thus alcohol was NOT "what led to street racing". What led to it was two dudes with fast cars, big egos and women in the passenger seats. Whenever someone is drinking and a bad decision is made, or whenever someone is speeding and an accident occurs, then alcohol/speed is THE reason. That's myopic nonsense.

they had to be both racing. There is no way the prosche can hit and split the ferrari in half like that
