I'm currently in the market for a 996tt/gt3, but also start to find some 06 997c4s touching my price range.

Besides the fact that the 09 997s have direct injection, and options such as PDK, anyone know if the new LED front and tail lights can be retrofitted?

I did this when I had my 03 e46 M3, and BMW started doing LED taillights in 03.5.

The new A91 engine, to be used across the line, is the biggest change IMHO, with PDK second but getting most press. Cosmetics, down on the list.
I've seen LED strips added, for looks, to pre-09 intake ports.
Lots of LED parts becoming available out there for hobbiests & fabricators.

 

GMG has done rear bumper and tailight retrofits. Unlike the BMW its not a direct swap, the rear bumper needs modded so there is the added labor and paint costs to consider.

 

Check out the lates Excellence magazine front cover. That green targa has a nice front LED fitted in finished CF setup.
