[quote=justatoy;2319314]I also used the 7MM spacers on my 20" DPE wheels....amazing how just over a 1/4" can make that big of a difference in the look...!
Looking forward to the pic !

Stacy,

Are your DPE's a stock offset?

Thanks for your response
jj I run 15mm in the rear and 7 mm in the front. I would imagine that the c2 and c4 would require about the same amount of adjustment to get the wheels to sit flush with the fenders.

lowered - definitely

You should be able to go 15mm rear spacers and 7mm front spacers no problem at all. www.automotion.com has good prices on H&R DR-series spacers. Call them (easiest) and be sure to ask for matching longer lug bolts as well.
Carlsen Porsche has the 17mm Techquipment rear spacers which should fit as well, but their picture does not look correct - should not have those pressed-in stud bolts and should come with longer lugs.

I'm sure any dealer can get these, so try Suncoast or Sunset depending on what side of the US you are on.

Another option for buying them is from Damon@tirerack.com he is a board sponsor and a good guy to deal with.

His price was great, I found a seller on this side of the border that was a little more, but I had to add Duty to Damon's price and that put it (considerably) over the local price. This is not Damon's fault, it is our government wanting there cut.

Looks awesome!

I just put 15/7 on my Lobsters and I am of the opinion you could go 15 all around to bring the fronts out a little wider and it would look great., too

Your solution on the Techarts is perfect!

I think it would work as well, however I think that there might be some rubbing under braking/trail braking.

Hmm... considering my front TA wheels with 7mm spacers are now +14mm more outside than the stock 19" lobsters, and with 245 tires, it appears possible. Looking at my fronts there is still a few mm of room left and no sign of almost rubbing.

If you were to do that, you'd really need to bring the rears out 18mm instead of 15mm. Otherwise the fronts will be sitting outward more than the rears and that would look funny. HR has an 18mm spacer that I was going to put on my 19" lobsters before I "scored" the 20" TA's. (my rear TA's with 7mm spacers are outward +19mm from stock, with 295's)

So, you could buy the 18mm spacers / bolts and move the 15mm's up front.

Are you using the OEM wheel studs? Are they long enough to accomondate the spacer? You need to make sure you have a good 8 or more turns on the lug nuts for safety. The TA setup otherwise look perfect on the car.

You cannot add spacers without purchasing the required longer wheel bolts. They are not studs, they are regular bolts like the OEM ones but longer. HR sells the correct length bolts as well.

Stay away from wheel spacers that have pressed in studs and use a nut to secure the wheel. HR's spacers are donut rings, hub-centric, and use longer pass-through wheel bolts just like your OEM setup. No vibration. Keep in mind you will not be able to use the OEM security bolt.
