My single regret about PDK

Gear indicator should be placed on the tachymeter as our field of view is concentrated on this display. It's not to do as some did but because it's common sense.

i have no idea what you are talking about but nice odometer reading! haha
i think it should be placed where it is right now (rpm gauge) because gear is directly related to rpm.

Oh, waahh! Man are you PDK guys friggen lazy.

Shifting my own gears is too much work!

Looking 5 inches to the right to verify what gear I'm in is too much work!

Waah!

If you cannot poke fun at your friends, where is the fun in that.

In all seriousness, the engine revs should be enough... do you really need a visual indicator?

Yeah- if you look at the Fcars they have the indicator in front view and larger. I too was wondering why they put it smaller and off to the right.. Nice job on the photoshopping

Agreed. On the track, one could use periphery vision to see where the tach needle is. That's really all you need to know, right?

Once you get used to it, you won't need to look at what gear you are in. Over time you will be more focused on the RPM range based on your driving style.
