Shoe Shopping - HRE P47 ?

Really liking these - I have a set of Damptronics ready to install and would like to finally rid myself of the lobsters at the same time. These would be installed on my 06 C2S in Atlas (that will be approx. 1" lower once the damptronics are installed)

Looking for pics, feedback from owners [of the wheel], and would love if someone has a set (19" in 'brushed) lying around and needs to clear some space

Awsome look. I like the M6 style wheels on the Porsche. I would go with the 20's though.

I like the style but I'm not a fan of HRE. Five stars are classic on a porsche. Take a look at the new Champions as well. Very clean.

Too similar to the Carrera Classic for my taste.

What are the widths?

What is wrong with HRE? They are equal in quality to Champion IMO. I had a set of HRE's on my first 997, loved them.

I've heard of quality issues (horror stories) with them in the past and that's my #1. Whether they got it sorted out or not I don't really care. Don't quote me on this but I believe their forging process is not up to the same standards as the Japanese. And Japanese are well known for quality control. And also some of the posts rubbed me the wrong way.

I know in the past HREs had some quality issues esp. with their finishes. I'm not sure if that has been worked out or not. Otherwise HREs have some of the nicest designs out there.
