Thought I'd contribute so pics for your enjoyment. I had a chance to take the car on the frozen lake in Georgetown, CO for some ice driving.

well, it looks like you have beat me to the punch. i had what i thought was a relatively original idea of combining a 997.1 GT3 nose, a 997.2 GT3 rear bumper (prefer the lack of the crease line), GT3 center exhaust and a ducktail spoiler on my 997.1. I thought it could be considered a GT Classic or GTC. A modern day RS of sorts. your car looks fantastic and now I know my idea was a good one.

Great minds think alike! The modern RS is exactly what I had in mind when I decided to go this route. I originally bought the 997.1 GT3 front and Euro 997.1 GT3RS rear, but fell in love with the look of the LEDs, so I decided to go with the OEM 997.2 Cup front and rear -- hence the tow hooks. In retrospect, I should have stuck with the 997.1 GT3 parts, as it would have been significantly cheaper considering all of the extra parts I needed to buy in order to fit the 997.2 bumpers/lights.

Yes, it is indeed the Getty ducktail.

It looks terrific. Exactly what I had in mind also. I thought it would be great to have an overall GT3 look with a classic ducktail to finish it off. The question is, do all this work or just hang on until a GT3 is possible. We'll see how things progress. At the moment, I'm still working on the performance aspect of the car. Glad to see someone else thought the same idea was ****. As you said, great minds think alike.
