H&R 7mm Spaser

quick question...were the oem longer lug bolts the same heads as the front wheels...i.e. do they have that concave half sphere in them? How do you like the 7mm spacers...do they make the rear look fuller?
thanks,
Marc

Yup, the longer bolts have exactly the same seat as they are made for porsche... They are red, that's how you can tell they are the longer ones... I am not using the longer ones in front as I don't have a spacer.

The 7mm spacer is good and definately improves the stance. I think the rear needs a 12-13mm spacer though. A lot of people put 14 mms in the rear... I just dont want to put a spacer that thick.

Correct. Google it - "lobster fork" - you will see a) pics of actual lobster forks; thin, straight, and two-pronged, used to get the meat out of the claws, and b) links to Porsche wheels.

Google "lobster claw" and you get info/pics of lobster claws and links to articles about deformities....and an unusual sexual act. Bet that made ya look.

thanks for the reply. I thought the "red" extended OEM Porsche lug bolts are for the 5mm Porsche spacers. Wheel Enhancment said they have 5mm "Hub Centric" spacers with the red Porsche OEM lugs, OR H&R 7mm spacers with the H&R flat bolt head lugs....these will not match the OEM lugs on the front wheels. Opinions? And lastly, is it really even worth doing 5mm spacers like the OEM Porsche ones?

I measured the porsche extended "red" lugs and they are actualy 7mms longer then the originals. I believe people who've done the 5mms have not been super happy with result... Also the porsche spacers are unnecessarily expensive

That would look even better with black titanium lugbolts! We have the silver LC's on our 2005....sweet wheel!
