Eibach Lowering Springs-success

Installed Eibach lowering springs today, DIY. 4 hours total time with 2 individuals. My driving impressions: Feels like OEM and absolutely no harshness. Unless it is my imagination, the ride actually feels slightly softer on the street!! Of course, my basic 997 now looks great with the new lowered height of ONE inch. Yes, the DIY was labor intense but very doable ( saved hundreds of dollars in installation cost too).

I found them to be a tad more firmer, and took away the hop and slop while driving around town

great work on the DIY... I would bring it to get professionally aligned though

i too noticed a softer initial ride height - the eibachs are progressive so it makes sense and perfect for driving around town

but take a hard turn and you'll notice a much firmer/aggressive spring rate

I ran Eibachs for about a year and then the springs settled and the car dropped too far, ride suffered....so Bilstein coilovers for me now. Well worth the investment IMO.

odd... i've never heard any feedback regarding the eibachs sagging/dropping excessively over time... that's typically what I read about the H&Rs instead

I've had my eibachs on for about 8 months now... no change in ride height (in fact it seems higher than when I first installed them but that's more due to desensitization lol)
