I think BMW has beat Porsche to the "poser" claim. Come down to SoCal.

I can't wait for the 998 to come out... so I can get a 997.2 for cheaper. I dunno if I would be satisified w/ a Cayman... I always relate the 911 to what a Porsche should be.

You gotta be as nice as I am. All these guys buying front ends, back ends, side skirts, wheels, wings, $500 worth of detailing supplies aren't doing it to improve the track performance.

The Cayman was the ugliest thing I ever saw when it first came out, but every 6 months it looks better and better; and, watch the 911's try to keep up with a properly set up crawdaddy at an autoX.

Dfi problems
For those of you that might be interested, the latest issue of Excelence states that Porsche is having problems with the fuel pumps in the DFI cars both Cayman and 997.
Also on the Cayman web site there are pictures and some explanation as to the excessive carbon build up on cars with DFI. It seems there is a different composition in the gas between the US and Europe which is causing problems. Porsche to address this in 2011. What some have said about staying away from first year production seems valid.
