Thinking about adding a gt3 kit to my carrera. Does anyone know if the engine cover on the NR Auto or Misha wings are made of fiberglass as well or just the wing portion. The factory engine cover is made of metal/aluminum and i am a bit hesitant to replace it with plastic.

Is the factory aerokit wing or gt3 constructed with a metal engine cover and fiberglass wing portion.

both the aftermarket and factory are fiberglass

 

the factory aerokit fibreglass... the decklid is not a load bearing component, so I would not be concerned (Porsche engineers weren't )
