Moving to UK, bringing US spec 997 C4S - couple of questions

Apparently, I need my sidemarkers to blink and I need UK spec headlights. Can anyone confirm this? Are the sidemarkers just a computer adjustment so they blink? (I'm assuming I need to buy new headlights).

Two questions for those Europeans here (or particularly well informed US forum members) - how much lower is PSS than 2008 997.1 C4S PASM (sport chrono package). If I were to upgrade to PSS, do I still get my two PASM settings (one stiffer, one less stiff)? Does the PSS for 08 997.1 have a ride height adjustment feature? Have you driven PSS and non PSS - is PSS better?

On the rear bumper, does removing the rear bumprettes allow enough space for a UK license plate? (hopefully, or else I'll need a new rear bumper that's UK spec?)

I will call AWE directly tmr, but anyone know if the US headers/200 cell cats, mufflers will pass the UK emissions test?

Thanks everyone for your time and help. Just tracked my car for the first time. There's no way I'm selling it ahead of my move!

Regards the UK emissions test (or MoT test as it's called) my car has the full AWE exhaust (headers/cats/mufflers) and passed with no problem about 2 weeks ago.

My apologies but I don't know the answers to your other questions

The Bilstein Damptronics will work with your PASM computer, they are an excellant upgrade over stock, and the height is adjustable.

I have no idea what is required for UK imports but I was in Europe last spring and saw a number of cars with North American sized plates. If the bumpers are up to spec, why spend more on switching them?

as i'm sure you know, the regular sized UK plates are much wider than the n.am plates. i too have seen some plates in the UK where the license plate is less wide and where the license plate number is in two rows, which could prob fit in the US bumper's license plate space, however they are taller than the US plates so I'm not entirely sure it will look right. however, i would consider getting the euro/UK 997.2 spec bumper to accommodate the regular sized license plate as a part of an upgrade to the 997.2 rear LED lights...
