Porsche Sports Suspension (PSS) differences from US

How much lower is the European PSS option than 2008 997.1 US-spec C4S PASM (sport chrono package). If I were to upgrade my US suspension to European PSS, do I still get my two PASM settings (one stiffer, one less stiff)? Does the PSS for 08 997.1 have a ride height adjustment feature? Has anyone driven PSS and non PSS - is PSS much better?

Euro 997.1 Sport suspension is not PASM, so if you were able to get your hands on one, you would not have adjustment and you would get PASM Failure error messages / beeps, etc. It's a very stiff and low (I believe -20 mm) setup. No OEM suspensions I've ever heard of have height adjustment - everything is set by spring length. If you want to stiffen your suspension, try a search on something like "lowering" and you'll probably find dozens if not hundreds of posts on the subject to help you.

My car is equipped with the sport suspension with LSD. The -20mm refers to the height of the regular carrera so it's only 10mm lower than a car with PASM. It's a little less stiff than PASM in sport mode, just perfect IMHO, but where I live the roads are mostly smooth. On bad roads it can be a real PITA
