RE: 2007 997 C2S

Apparently this part has been revised twice from -09FMH to -12FMH and later to -14FMH...do you know the reason behind it?

This is the climate control unit in the dash with the roller ***** on each side.

Just curious if it was maybe a recall unit?

I need to replace it for cosmetic reasons (was cleaned with something too aggressive).

Any suggestions on where to go for the unit (please don't make me go to the dealership!)

The update might be due to another supplier making them for Porsche, or some software updates.
