Help! Wax all over the sunroof gasket
Help! Wax all over the sunroof gasket
So I went and waxed my car myself using carnuba wax and, of course, I got the wax all into the sunroof gasket that seals the sunroof into the rest of the roof.
I've been trying to get it out using a dried on wax removal product from Griots, but it's barely making a difference.
I called Suncoast about getting a replacement gasket, and they helpfully said that you can't just replace the gasket and that you have to disassemble a large part of the sunroof mechanism to replace it.
Does anyone have any tips?

I would highly recommend the following product:

It has saved me multiple times with the same issue. Good luck.

Park in the hot direct sun. Carnauba wax will evaporate.
Next time, use P21S. Leaves no white residue, lasts a long time, is easy to apply (wipe on, wipe off- no waiting for the haze).

But next time, mask off any plastic/rubber before waxing
