My 'new-to-me' 997S
New here...
The pic from the dealer--just picked it up yesterday...
I just sold my '08 Z06 & decided to get another P-car (seeing that I'm a Porsche Driving instructor & all--lol!). This will be my 4th in abt 20 yrs.
It has some nice goodies on it & I'm looking forward to driving it @ 10/10ths!

Great color and great buy! Can you highlight some details about the differences between the 2 cars. Z06 vs. P! I race Z06's and I would love to here some feedback from an instructors point of view....

Thanks for the kind words & welcome from all!
Adam, I've had seat time in a stock 997 C4S, and can tell you it's definitely more stable in the rear than a stock-suspended C6Z--unless you completely drop the throttle mid-corner
I found my C6Z to be very spooky--even near the limit. I've had 2 C5Zs & they were very stable, in comparison.
My Z had 489 rwhp SAE (headers, intake, tune etc), so it was quite a bit faster.
Looking forward to gettin the C2 out there!
NorthVan--here you go:

sammy, I couldn't respond to your PM (too new), but here's my response regarding the Z:
Hit the nail on the head--see my latest post. Lack of feel (primarily @ rear) & the car can get away from you in a hurry if your reactions aren't quick enough.
I haven't had seat time in the new M3, but hear they're quite nice to drive @ the limit.
Good luck!
