Porsche NA President's letter in response to my letter to Porsche AG Chairman Wiedeking regarding cell phone integration:

For some reason I can't upload the scan, so here's the important part:

“The keypad on your central console will soon be able to function as a telephone keypad … We are currently putting the final touches on a North American GSM phone module for the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system in your 911. With this integrated phone system you will be able to use the keypad to dial phone numbers, while using the antenna, microphone, and speaker system integrated in your car. We expect to have this feature available as both a factory option and a Tequipment retrofit by January 2005.”
