Loving my 997.2 despite repairs...

I had my C4S since 4/15/2009 and it has 2000 miles as of now. I enjoy driving my car until problem arise 4 weeks ago. I had a PASM failure and the dealer had to replace the PASM module. It took 2 days but they fixed the problem. Then last week my car had the jerk and hesitation problem some of you experience. I thought it was bad gas so I gave it couple of days. But it didn't go away and the CEL light came on. My OBD scanner read "Cylinder#3 Misfire". It was the same "Cylinder#3 Misfire" that happened 3 days after I got my car but that time it went away in 3 days. This time no such luck and the car jerk worst than last time. So I took the car into the dealer last wednesday to have it check out. The dealer replaced the ignition coil but didn't solve the problem. They check the wireharness and that was OK too. Then tuesday they suspect faulty fuel injector because the spark plug was dry. I thought this could be drag on for a long time and started to panic. But today, 1 week after I drop the car off, they finish installing the injector and everthing fire up without a hitch. A 100% healthy engine sounds so sweet I am so glad my car is back in my garage and I sincerely hope I don't have to step my foot into the dealership until the require oil change.

Good to hear you're back to business John. I missed my car too while I was away on business trip for 1 week.

Glad to hear it was nothing serious and these cars for the most part have been trouble free

I know one build differs from another, but I am always shocked to hear about these type of issues. I have had my 09 C4S PDK for aver 6 months now, and have never needed to take it to the dealer besides to get some oil put in when it was initially burning oil.
And my luck isn't usually the best with cars, the last 3 or 4 cars I've owned I remember having one problem or another during the first 3-6 months.

But, glad to see you could see past all that and enjoy it for what it really is, I know it's a P.I.T.A to deal with that type of stuff.
