I'm new to this 997 thing.
I just sold an early 911 S and I'm ready to try something modern.

Edmunds/KBB says the going rate for a basic 05/06 997 is $38-43,000.
Manual, silver on black, power seats. I don't need much beyond that. PASM might be nice.

Everywhere I look I see cars listed for $46-49k with 20-30,000 miles.

Are these really $40,000 cars with a lot of negotiating room?

I have seen 2005s in the 30's with 25000 miles but if I were you I would get a 2006 because of the warranty even though you would have to pay more.
