Great move upgrading the brakes Larry, too many people boost the power on thereturbo charged cars and forget about trying to make it come to a stop.

 

Ed -I had a guy on the Turbo forum ask me (paraphrasing) "what difference does it make to slow down a car " . His logic was that if one is doing 75MPH "a stop is a stop" no matter what .

What he didn't realize is that with extreme Hp (200+ above stock) the car accelerates so fast that an immediate stop capability is needed . The stock brakes were great with a stock car but not at a much higher level. Jumping to 600 (approx) Hp the stock brakes still were great . The big jump to 700 - they worked but not well enough to accomodate the massive Hp (IMO) . I wanted better . Expecially when I decided to have a catless race exhaust and most recent software. So the Brembos went on .

It's like night and day difference . The Brembos are just incredible .

I've got an interesting question, does Brembo make the Ceramic Brakes for Porsche as well?
