See this.......hook, line, and sinker! I figured if we brought this up someone would be interested in it. Of course you wouldnt have to sell if your true friend (Stacy) would pay to have your car shipped to him, install it, and ship it back! A TRUE FRIEND WOULD DO THIS..........HAIR OR NO HAIR

 

Actually, if I thought it belonged on the Targa, I would likely drive it up to Vancouver for Stacy to fill his long winter evenings with.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned my SC to Jason (JEllis) a couple of months ago when I purchased his floor jack, but I may not have told him I might be willing sell it. His car may benefit more since I see he has it nicely set up for tracking.

But a Targa with SC would certainly be unique wouldn't it? And I did just pick up a set of 200 cell cats. Hmmm.

 

No trouble Jim, I will still sell you an alternator for the price of a used SC!

I was just reading this AGAIN and noticed THAT Ed keeps commenting on 'Driving' and the 'Track' stuff and says I need to drive more and become a more competitive track guy!

So,a little off topic here,I rented the go-kart track for an hour this weekend to do a 1 hour endurance race with some friends.
So I phone Ed(Northvan997C2S) to see IF he can BACK-UP what he claims of being so quick at the track.
Anyway,I ask him to come out and he cowardly replies:

"My wife is going out and I have to watch the kids"

I cannot believe that Ed(Northvan997C2S) would use his kids as pawns...are you kidding me?

You know Ed,I suppose now you will claim I weigh half as much and how the karts would be quicker with someone my size over you..BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!

You are lucky you are busy my friend..I would have hated to be nicknamed the "Humbler"!!!

Stacy, I glad to see that you do have some interest in going fast, and around a track. When you are ready to put your big boy pants on, let me know when can go to the big track

 

I need to have my head read for getting involved in this exchange.

I think Stacy's idea of a 1-hour enduro sounds like fun Ed. Many top drivers got their start in go-karts, since they teach you the basics in a low cost and safe environment. With your track experience, you should be able to blow Stacy and I off the track, just like another friend of mine does to me here when we rent them periodically. And he is much bigger and heavier than me.

I'll be in Vancouver in the second week of October, and again around Christmas.

 

I really do need to stay with my kids, wife is out. Next time I am in for sure!

 

The last time I was tracking with Ed, he was chasing and keeping up with a 997GT3RS...I think you can believe him when he said he is fast.
