Porsche Sales - Not Good
You missed it actually. The incentives of May on that vehicle are no longer in effect.
Thanks Joe - Great info . I've been looking at the numbers and also noticed that on the link it also says that CPO sales are up (620 vs 576) . Also it's been noticeable lately that CPO prices on low mile nicely optioned cars has climbed a bit. This implies a strength in the used segment .
I think if Porsche opened up a CPO only dealership comprised of cars with less than 10K miles , clean DMe, lease programs, cars chosen optioned with high demand features , and respected by all other dealerships (where well maintained cars face regorous inspections to be sold ) .. as one national central dealership -- cars would sell like hot cakes. Warranty CPO concerns could be centralized and this consolidation would benefit both manufacturer and consumer.

As Larry has always said, Once you get above 10K in miles on a Porsche, the hit on a a Pcar is significant. The Low miles, used Porsches are selling alot better than they were in Feb, that is for sure.
I have to say, given that 2 major US automakers have gone bankrupt, BMW and MB have taken significant hits. Porsche seems to have done alright. Sure some numbers are down by several percentage points, but with major economies on the verge of collapse, all in all I would not call this terrible.
I would expect to see these numbers up by the end of this year.
