Hey guys, just got a new C4S. I have about 2200 miles on it, and now the car tells me that Service is due in 15 days. By then I'll probably be at 3000 miles. Is it normal to have service this soon? I recently put a ECU on my car, so I'm not sure if that is why?

My service light came on early too. I believe that it comes on approx 1 year after the car undergoes it's initial dealer prep before selling. The dealership probably starts the countdown when they prep it. Took my car to my local dealer where they reset it at no charge... However, if you can find a service coupon, I would recommend changing the oil at 2-3k miles (after the car is broken in).

 

The light turned on on my car as well when I came close to 3,000 miles. The dealer just hooked the car to a computer to turn off the light, they said there was no problem and it was something that always happened. Don't worry

 

I am at about 17000 miles, and have yet to see a service reminder note come up.
