997.1 led front light finally
I was only able to get the ***** to try it because I found a housing on ebay for 50 bucks. I just finished siliconing it shut and am letting it dry over night. Once it is all done I'll test it and see if it is worth doing it to another one. If I do it to the other one I will post a step by step guide with pics.
I finished the driver side led, I ended up cutting it shorter so it just ends instead of wrapping up like in the first pics. I sealed it all up and am very happy with the results. Also does anyone have or know where I can find a used passenger side fog housing on ebay. I would like to keep my stock ones if possible. If someone finds me one I'll do a complete DIY write up with pics
lol thanks anthony
yseasy: I thought about doing it the way you said but it doesn't fit in the housing correctly like that, the way the strip fits best is how I did it.
Anyways, I went ahead and did the other one, I'm letting the silicone dry over night and I'll post some pics tomorow. By the way the lights look great at night and it give the car a 997.2 look.

I appreciate the work and effort you put in, but I really like the OEM look of both 997.I & II. Still, I wouldn't say it is bad, different styles, different tastes. If I was to see this on the road, I'd think 'good job mate, way to go' Individuality.. it is a *****

The leds are no where near as blue as they look in these pics (those are stock headlights and look 8000k). Also when you see it in person the light looks less diffused, but this is the best my ****ty camera could do
