Thumbs down Internet Rumormill C4S Variant

Saw this on Jalopnik yesterday. Most think it is another shot of a 998 mule in the wild. http://jalopnik.com/5319588/porsche-...ming-next-year

I think the tail is cool, but not sure about the roof bubbles.

Reasonably credible reports on other sites describe a widebody C2S w/ special paint and leather, Fuchs style wheels, ducktail, and powerkit scheduled to debut at Frankfurt in Sept. Essentially a very limited and very expensive "special edition" Carrera. Evidently the "bubble roof" is part of the package.

I think I like the double-bubble roof. The duck tail just does not work on the 997 body IMHO.

Yes, this is indeed the rumored C4S Supersport. I really do like the design concept of this car, although the price concept of $220K seems pretty darn high...

$135K euros makes more sense than $135K pounds.

I do like the look of the car, but I have my doubts about it. First off, if it has not been officially announced, why is it not camouflaged? How often do they make right hand drive test mules given the fact that most of the world uses left hand drive vehicles? Doesn't this car look as if it has TechArt side skirts and add-on piece on the upper part of the rear window? The rear wheels look like they have concave spokes (yes I know it is blurry) which would seem a little odd for a set of Fuch's.

So I would have to wonder if the picture is really just someones personal car that has been modded.
