Tire pressure for Michelin PS 2's?

Can anyone tell me the CORRECT, HOT tire pressure to run on Michelin Pilot Sport tires front and rear?

IS this for the track?

If so and this is your 1st track event...just run the stock COLD presure 33/39 and talk to your instructor and have him check pressures with you.

If you have been tracking a little and want to learn more and feel how tire pressures affect handling then when I was 1st starting out in 2006 I ran PS2's and founf that with a stock alignment that 40psi worked well. Above that like the tires slipped more and below that or below 38 the fronts rolled over.

If you just run on the street just use the recomended 33/38 COLD pressures. Normal street driving will heat the tires up abut 4psi and they will be at around 36-37 front and 43-44 raer hot. I would not run low pressures on the street due to pot holes and so forth.

actually, your question is too general to be answered specifically...depends too much on track temps, track condition and driving style...generally, you should shoot for 36/38 front and 39/40 rear HOT...beyond 40psi the rears get nervous...if you are driving beyond 7/10ths you should increase cold temps 10-12psi during a 20 minute session...if you are not pushing hard the increase in pressure will be a lot less...this should give you a starting point...good luck

No I'm not speaking of track temps. Here in So. Cal. summer days can be over 100 degrees. Just wanted to get some feedback where people are finding grip levels best on "these tires" while pushing the car. That's all. I've been running 36 psi front and 40 psi rear when hot. As far as tracking goes, been racing a early track 911 for over 10 years. But thanks for the advice anyway
