Car vibrates in the rain above 50mph

I need some recommendations. The last 2 days in some of South Florida's major downpoors, I started getting major wheel / tire virbration on the highway above 50mph. This morning (after the car dried through the night) when I drove the highway with no rain and dry road conditions, there was no vibration at all even up to 90mph. But once again, on the way home form my destination there was massive rain, and once again, I started getting major vibrations above 50mph. Any ideas what this can be?

Yes it is, I would have thought that the wheels were HRE's, as it is a common problem with the early versions.

Don't drive in the rain...tough to do in the NW/BC where Lig and I are, but in Florida, not so hard

This is the only fix I am aware of. I believe they are offered through Iforged.

You drive your car in the rain?!

I'd call the wheel manufacturer and raise a stink if it is infact attributable to the wheels.

Funny you say that, this is the first time I've driven in back to back major rain storms in 4 years

Welcome to the ownership of the dreaded three piece wheels. Water diverters are a joke. Go Monoblock and close the file.

Already shopping for the Monoblock wheels. It's funny that 4 years ago I did not know about them (or at least where was not that big of a selection) and the differences

You can do monoblock but if you prefer some dish the step lip (not the same as reversed lip) wheel will NOT vibrate one bit . In fact it's a competition wheel (light ,strong , fast) with a bit of style IMO. The reverse lip wheels have been posted about on variors forums years ago.
