Expensive Mistake
Hmm interesting:P Depending on schedule that'd be way cool!
LOL....... I have never driven a GT3 but I know that the 2010 GT3 is the car for me. I cant justify the cost just yet....but when I can (and i will) that thing will be sitting in my garage. And it likely will be Guards Red.

I made a big mistake this morning, after a PCA drive I was given the opportunity to drive Edgemont Village's 997 GT3RS with Sharkwerks bypass (which sounds awesome Alex), and I realized very quickly that the GT3 is the car for me! I have taken my C2S as far as I can, and it will never be one. The GT3 feels lighter, sharper, more precise then my C2S is or ever will be. Oh yeah it even sounds better!
I have decided that I am going to move towards a GT3 (don't know if it will be 997.1 997.1RS or 997.2) but it is not a want, it is a need for me.

Well I understand, i was fortunate enough to get a ride in EdgmontVillage's GT3 RS last PCA drive event about couple of weeks ago and as a result i have been obsessed with looking for one. I am not ready to make that change now, but if I drove it it would probably put me over the edge. It is definitely thee car to get! By the way, NorthVan, was there a BBC this morning?
Hey Ed,
Damn, I left too early...you should have call me back while you're driving Lloyd's car...
Lloyd, please don't let me get near to your car, I don't want to buy a GT3...YET.

Besides, since all of you have GT3s, I have a good excuse to be the slowest one in the group.
I'm still trying to resist the urge to mod. It's a dangerous and slippery slope.
I could see starting with Damptronics, then a LSD. Might as well do sways with the Damptronics. But I only have the Sport Seats. So I still need to get buckets.
Since I use my car as a DD and take my kids to school in it, I can't put in a cage, so I'll never have a harness. It's a street car, so I can't get too aggressive with the alignment.
And if it's lap times that I'm chasing, then PDK would probably do more for me than anything else. I'd be better off putting the mod money toward a PDK car.

I say do the Damptronics, they are an excellent up grade for both street and track.
Being a regular hangout with Ed both on the street and on the track, I have to say I am very good at resisting the urge to mod. Partly because I still use the rear seats for kids, and partly because I don't want to change the club coupe.
When I start to feel I need more from what #13 can give me on the track, then I'll go right to the GT3 and skip any modding plans on the club coupe.
