LOL....... I have never driven a GT3 but I know that the 2010 GT3 is the car for me. I cant justify the cost just yet....but when I can (and i will) that thing will be sitting in my garage. And it likely will be Guards Red.

I have taken my C2S as far as I can, and it will never be one. The GT3 feels lighter, sharper, more precise then my C2S is or ever will be. Oh yeah it even sounds better!

I have decided that I am going to move towards a GT3 (don't know if it will be 997.1 997.1RS or 997.2) but it is not a want, it is a need for me.
LOL...glad you enjoyed the "Oh just around the block" test drive... although all 997s are terrific cars the GT3 provides a unique experiece and is very addicting. Ed, I can't think of a better guy to own such a car, write the check baby...

Hey Danny, the last BBC was a lot of fun, we'll need to get you behind the wheel of the RS in the near future. The combination of a smaller group and perfect road conditions allowed for an even more spirited run. Hope to see you out next time.

Stop resisting and get to it already! How long have you been talking about a GT3?

My plan is to upgrade my own driving skills in the next 3 years, then GT3.

Besides, since all of you have GT3s, I have a good excuse to be the slowest one in the group.

I'm still trying to resist the urge to mod. It's a dangerous and slippery slope.
I could see starting with Damptronics, then a LSD. Might as well do sways with the Damptronics. But I only have the Sport Seats. So I still need to get buckets.
Since I use my car as a DD and take my kids to school in it, I can't put in a cage, so I'll never have a harness. It's a street car, so I can't get too aggressive with the alignment.

And if it's lap times that I'm chasing, then PDK would probably do more for me than anything else. I'd be better off putting the mod money toward a PDK car.

Yes it is a slippery slope. I have all the stuff you have mentioned and then some, can is fun to drive on both the street and track. The alignment is a ROW track setting, but my tires wear evenly across.

I say do the Damptronics, they are an excellent up grade for both street and track.

Being a regular hangout with Ed both on the street and on the track, I have to say I am very good at resisting the urge to mod. Partly because I still use the rear seats for kids, and partly because I don't want to change the club coupe.

When I start to feel I need more from what #13 can give me on the track, then I'll go right to the GT3 and skip any modding plans on the club coupe.
